If Russia needs the resources to fund the war in Ukraine, why doesn’t it throw open its doors to visa free western tourism? Enough people would be interested, & it would start to get some hard currency as €, CHF, £, SEK, $, JPY in the tills at shops.

It looks like you are addressing the mentally challenged .Any western tourist wih the financial means also has the required IQ not to choose exiting encounters with outhouses anywhere in russia except say moskau and st .petersburg .Yes of course there are sights and things i would like to see in russia BUT not in these times and with the nutcase putin and co running the circus . wa
